Actually, the best thing to use is the moldable plastic they sell around halloween to create artificial scars. It holds to your skin nicely. You can add make-up to it to make it more ';your skin color';.
Looks like they suggest using a chewing gum that matches the person's skin and molding it. Not sure if you wanted something a little more sophisticated, but its a start.
I also remember running across a book which showed you how to make different Trek props and replicate some of the alien makeup. Can't recall the name of it, but you may want to look around for it.
You can acutally use a latex putty, that's usually available in costume shops, or widely available in the US during Halloween.
And, I believe, some costume shops actually carry products geared towards Star Trek alien make up. The most common one available, of course, are the vulcan ear tips.

Which course should I play? Osprey Ridge or Magnolia?
I am playing 2 courses when I come down to disney on a trip soon. I am already playing Falcon's Fire. Should I play Magnolia or Osprey Ridge?
I know the answers, like, they are both so great or you can't go wrong, but I would like to know what reasons are likeable or set them apart, any recommendations. Don't say play them both, I am only playing one.

Good luck, bring your wallet.

it's a safe part of town. If you are curious about why it seems more affordable, try going there by train. It's a long ride. If you take lots of taxis home, you will pay a lot for the taxis. The R and N trains are known as the rarely and the never. You should usually get a seat though.
Bay Ridge has a lot of great restaurants and parks, including a path for running, biking, or skating along the water.
Agree with the prior poster. Bay Ridge is considered to be 69th St and up, from shore road to approx Fort Hamilton Pkwy (but Dyker Heights isn't bad either). Is Bay Ridge Brooklyn in NYC a bad part of town?
Realtors are known for misleading people by misidentifying where properties are actually located, What they may call Bay Ridge may actually be several blocks removed from the area in a less desirable place. For example, Sunset park is the next area over and is not as nice as Bay Ridge.
You'll do well to keep that paranoia in New York, or at least maintain a healthy skepticism.
It's a great part of BK. I have just moved there myself and there are a lot of great restaurants and shops! The only draw back is that it takes a little longer to get into Manhattan.

I think my son my have Metopic Ridge (bump down forehead), should I be worried.?
My son is almost 11 months old. I started noticeing the line down his forhead in pictures around 7 months or so. It is more noticeable in some lights and in some pictures but I can feel the bump. Does anyone know if it will go away or is it hurting him? I will be taking him to his 1 year checkup soon so I hope to get some answers then.I think my son my have Metopic Ridge (bump down forehead), should I be worried.?

Since the ridging would happen shortly after the fusion took place, your son is probably fine... but i don't think it will go away. If you are concerned, I would take your child to a cranio-facial specialist. My son was born with a ridge and the pedi I had said it was normal and would improve with age. I took him to another pedi who said ';ack-he's gonna need surgery'; - so now I have an appointment with the cranio-facial specialist. i have family there and their condo has a great view of lots of wood (coming soon there though: more condos and a walmart). its not really a tourist destination but it is a nice area to live because it isnt far from NYC

Most of the mid atlantic ridge is deep underwater and out of our sight. Iceland is a large island on the Mid-Atlantic Ocean Ridge. What makes it different than the rest of the mid ocean ridge.
My guess is that it is visible because it is right under the island. I also think that iceland is a island made by the sedimentary rock from the volcanoes of the mid atlantic ocean ridge.

Here's the deal: The mid-ocean ridges, as you've probably learned, are slowly but constantly spewing fresh magma onto the ocean floor, creating new oceanic crust. So this plate margin, that runs down the middle of the Atlantic, is a source of volcanic activity.
There are also areas called ';hot spots';, which can be anywhere, where hot material from the mantle rises up and causes a lot of volcanic activity. The Hawaiian islands were formed (and are still forming) from the Pacific plate drifting over one of these hot spots.
Iceland happens to be BOTH on a plate boundary AND a hot spot. That means that not only is there the normal volcanism from the mid-ocean ridge, but there is added volcanism from the hot spot that is right underneath it. This is why there is constantly molten rock spewing forth from Iceland, and the reason that it is able to rely so heavily on geothermal energy.

21 mines were laid in preparation for the apocalyptic start to the Messines battle on 7 June 1917. However a decision was taken to explode only 19 of the mines; the remaining two remained dormant until the end of the war and beyond.
It is said that the British lost the details of the whereabouts of these mines, much to the discomfort of the Belgian authorities.
One of the two mines went off unexpectedly on 17 June 1955 during a thunderstorm, near Le Pelerin. Electrification of the area had arrived in the 1940s and 50s, and a pylon was unknowingly erected above the site of the mine; lightning struck the pylon, detonating the mine below.
The only casualty was a dead cow, although surrounding damage was extensive. The resultant crater has since been filled in, although after heavy rainfall a slight depression in the ground indicates the location of the crater.

there a still 1 or 2 mines where the location isn't really know because from the 24 only 20 where used. There was one at the ';petite douve farm '; was almost a year before the battle discovered ( Aug 1916 ) and this one was destroyed by a camouflet. Then there is the '; bird case '; mines who where kept in reserve because the frontline wasn't any more in the good position mostly regarded as one mine but there where more then one mine chamber and also nothing is known on the condition of the charge and then there was the one that already exploded

My friend, the best advice for commuting from Bay Ridge, Brooklyn to Manhattan will be taking the ';R'; train (Yellow Line) from any station along 4th Avenue (Bay Ridge-95th Street, 86th Street, 77th Street, Bay Ridge Blvd or 59th Street).
If you live along the ';N'; line (Yellow Line) you can also take the train on that line from either 8th Avenue, Fort Hamilton Parkway or New Utrecht Avenue-62nd Street in to and out of Manhattan.
The express bus is also a good option, but it is expensive. The fare is $5 each way and they only accept the 7-Day Express Bus Plus MetroCard, which can be used on both the express and local bus, as well as the subway. The other unlimited ride MetroCards (7-day pass, 14-day pass and 30-day pass) are not accepted on the express bus (believe me, I tried it).
Also, if you're taking the express bus to and from Manhattan, be very patient, because you will get stuck in rush-hour traffic on the BQE (Brooklyn-Queens Expressway).
So, if you want to save money and get to work on time, my best commuting advice is taking the subway from Bay Ridge to Manhattan.

2. Cut rafter out to use as a pattern-now mark other rafters for plumb cut and birds mouth cut - cut all out.
3. Install ridge board use board next size larger than the rafters - layout ridge board on both sides where rafters will go. Brace ridge board up at each end.
4. Install Rafters to ridge and at plate
5. Install fascia board and fly rafters
If you are a carpenter it's simple - If not even with your requested 5 steps you will be lost.

Ric did not get the computer away from Ridge. Instead he rushed over to where they were having a little bridal shower for Steffy and whisked her away before Taylor and Ridge could get there and play it for her! He mentioned they could get married tonight. Darn it I was so wanting to see the look on her face when she heard all those things Ric said. I had doubted that he had any real feelings for her and everything he said just proved that for me. He really needs some serious help. He is a great actor though and the scenes with he and Ridge today were really good. He kept baiting Ridge over and over, to no avail.
Marcus stopped by earlier and talked to Steffy. He really does have true feelings for her and I wish she would see that and go back to him.
i'm sorta tired of both rick and ridge; i was hoping once rick found out he was duped, he's somehow get the computer and trash it, erase the mesage, etc. but instead, everyone is playing th eamazing race to get to steffy- according ti my cable descriptions, wed or thurs of this week, 'taylor plays the recording' and i can't remeber the exact wording, but leads me to rick m aking some sort of ultimatum for steffy to choose, let me see if i can find it....found it

You should definately visit Donegal in Ireland. The Derryveagh Mountain range, Mount Errigal,The Poison Glenn, Muckish Mountain, The Blue Stacks...... They will all blow your mind!What are the best ridge walks in Scotland, England, Wales and Ireland?

Is the Blue Ridge Parkway a good ride? I have a HD lowrider. If not, any suggestions for a good one.?
I will be leaving from the Cherokee NC end. I live in Knoxville TN, so if there are any good 2 or 3 day rides in this area that I may not be aware of please let me know. I know most of them. Blue Ridge Parkway rocks! Luray Caverns %26amp; Natural Bridge are a couple of good spots to cruise to.

all i can tell you is to be extremely cautious on the parkway. the fog can become so bad that they actually have lights along the edge of the road so you will be able to stay on the road. its pretty dangerous in the morns and evenins and in rainy weather.
but, i dont really know what to tell you about other ways to go.

Yeah, it's a great place to ride. You've already gotten lots of good suggestions but I'll add this; At the cross roads of Hwy 18 and the BRP check out the ';Stations Inn';. http://stationsinn.com/index-a.html Really cool place run by some good folks.

The parkway is a fantastic ride. Keep in mind that it can easily be 20 degrees cooler on the parkway. Last Oct we ran into snow! Was in the 70s leaving Atlanta. Also, alot of the other highways that intersect with the parkway have fanstastic riding. Another poster mentioned the Cherohala skyway. That is a great ride also. Highway 64 from Frankin east is great. 215 is a very cool road. 276 comming up from SC over to Brevard is great. Highway 19 through NC is nice. Highway 221 going towards Boone is also very cool. 221 runs parallel with the parkway from Chimney rock into Va and for the hundred miles from about spruce pine to VA line is better than the parkway. It's cool looking up at the lynn cove viaduct from the bottom. Also 107 from around spruce pine, pinola is very nice. Bottom line, almost any highway up in the high country is fantastic. If you do the parkway, try to hit it on a week day. I have a website which covers biker stuff in Ga. I have a few ride reports from rides in the mountains( including last years ride down the parkway) as well as links to other sites with info about riding the smokies.

I am going to assume that ';pch'; is the Pacific Coast Highway.
I drive different portions of the Pacific Coast Highway daily as part of my job but have not seen anything like what you have described in your question.However,as I'm sure you know,the Pacific Coast Highway is over 500miles long and uses parts of many interstate and intrastate highways plus a couple of state roads...and because of all that I would have to say that I have no idea of what you saw or where you were....Sorry I couldn't be of more help to you.

If you remove a tooth, the teeth around it will start to fall into the empty place. Ask why he can't put in a false tooth.

If your not planning on replacing the tooth....then yeah a waste of money. But if at some point you might want to get an implant crown you would need this. Also if someday you were to need dentures and you have no bone....then you would have no ridge. Which is what the denture would sit on and suction to. I would have another consult with the surgeon to make sure everyone is on the same page.

If you remove a tooth, the teeth around it will start to fall into the empty place. Ask why he can't put in a false tooth.
The site below says if you don't do something, the bone you now have will melt away. Of course, it is a website by a dentist. If your not planning on replacing the tooth....then yeah a waste of money. But if at some point you might want to get an implant crown you would need this. Also if someday you were to need dentures and you have no bone....then you would have no ridge. Which is what the denture would sit on and suction to. I would have another consult with the surgeon to make sure everyone is on the same page.

Dental Insurance does not generally cover only necessary procedures. Don't let insurance dictate what treatment you choose, let informed decisions. Talk with your dentist/ surgeon and ask why they feel it is needed, it could be any # of reasons from dentures, to implants or to save the neighboring teeth. Get a second opinion, or third, if you still have questions. It is good to look at things from all angles, but just remember that your oral health affects all aspects of your life, from speaking to eating to your overall health.
