1. Measure the span of the building and determine your rafter length.


2. Cut rafter out to use as a pattern-now mark other rafters for plumb cut and birds mouth cut - cut all out.


3. Install ridge board use board next size larger than the rafters - layout ridge board on both sides where rafters will go. Brace ridge board up at each end.


4. Install Rafters to ridge and at plate


5. Install fascia board and fly rafters
