Has anyone here done the Kuilau Ridge trail hike in Kauai?

I doubt anyone has, but if you did what was it like? Was it easy or hard?Anything great about it? thanks =)Has anyone here done the Kuilau Ridge trail hike in Kauai?
The trail is narrow in some places and passes through thick forests. The trail provides breathtaking scenery and you will have a great, albeit distant, view of Wai'ale'ale covered in rain clouds.Has anyone here done the Kuilau Ridge trail hike in Kauai?
I haven't done that one. I am leaving to go for our second trip to Kauai soon and we plan to do more hiking. Might have to try that one. We did the Kalalau Trail last time - just the four miles in to the waterfall and back out but it was the most beautiful sites I have ever seen. And the hike wasn't so bad. I did buy some Teva water hiking shoes this time so when my feet get wet the water can drain out the bottom. I also heard one of the best trails on the island is up the west shore - waimea canyon area. It is called Awa Awa puhi trail. The views looks spectacular. Good luck and have a WONDERFUL time. Kauai is the most beautiful place ever!!
