Hard to say. Cabelas is like Sears in that they have several companies manufacture their private label gear. In optics, companies such as Sightron, BSA, Tasco, Hakko, and others have made products for Cabelas.
Like you, I would probably feel better knowing who makes this binocular, but in the end, it doesn't matter because Cabelas has an excellent reputation for standing behind their gear.
